A short call to understand what you need and confirm we are the right fit.

Service agreement & first appointment

Booked within seven days of the screening call. We send everything in writing first.

Delivered with care. Written reports are usually returned within four weeks.

Who we work with

Built for adults navigating change.

We work with adults aged 40 and over who are living with disability, recovering from injury or illness, or facing cognitive change. NDIS participants, people referred by their GP, and adult children acting on behalf of older parents.

We will treat you like an adult, give you straight answers, and walk with you for as long as it takes.

Common questions

The questions we hear most often.

Do you take NDIS participants?

Yes. We work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. We are not currently registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, which means we cannot directly bill agency-managed (NDIA-managed) plans. If your plan is agency-managed, your support coordinator can help you change to plan management to access our services.

How long does a functional capacity assessment take?

From first appointment to a written report in your hands, an FCA is usually returned within four weeks. Complex cases occasionally take longer; if so, we will tell you up front.

Can sessions be done over telehealth?

Yes, and most of our work is. Telehealth is funded by the NDIS at the same rate as in-person sessions. It works well for cognitive therapy, follow-ups, report writing, and many access requests. Some work — home modification assessments, complex assistive technology — is better in person.

Where are you based?

The practice is based in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales. We see people in person across six local government areas — Byron, Clarence Valley, Kyogle, Lismore, Richmond Valley, and Tweed Shire — servicing up to Tweed Heads on the Queensland border. Telehealth is available to rural communities anywhere in Australia.

I'm not sure if OT is what I need. Can we talk first?

Yes. We offer a free 15-minute call to understand what you need and confirm we are the right fit. There is no obligation to book anything afterwards.
